Instagram is a Tier 4 (Social) integration with OAuth authentication. Connect your Instagram Business account to sync follower engagement and content interactions.
Setup
- Open Settings > Integrations
- Click Connect on Instagram
- You will be redirected to Meta’s OAuth consent screen
- Grant Waypath access to your Instagram Business account
- You will be redirected back to Waypath

Sync behavior
- Initial backfill: imports recent post engagement and follower interactions
- Incremental sync: polls for new interactions
- Identity resolution: matches Instagram users to existing people where possible
