Connect Your First Integration

Waypath connects to 15 platforms across 5 tiers. Each integration normalizes incoming data into the universal MarketingEvent format before entering the pipeline.

Quick connect (API key integrations)

The fastest way to get real data flowing is with an API key integration.

Customer.io

  1. Open Settings (gear icon in the header)
  2. Go to the Integrations tab
  3. Find Customer.io and click Connect
  4. Enter your Customer.io Site ID and API Key
  5. Click Validate & Connect

Waypath validates the credentials, then runs a background backfill of your existing Customer.io data. Incremental polling runs every 5 minutes.

OAuth integrations (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)

  1. Open Settings > Integrations
  2. Click Connect on any OAuth-based platform
  3. You will be redirected to the platform’s authorization page
  4. Grant access and you will be returned to Waypath
  5. Backfill begins automatically

What happens after connecting

  1. Data is fetched from the source platform
  2. Events are normalized to MarketingEvent format
  3. Identity resolution matches customers across platforms
  4. Records are written to the CRM store (Pipeline)
  5. The graph is rebuilt from CRM data (Intelligence)
  6. WebSocket pushes updates to the dashboard in real time
